    Key figures 2024:

    Respectful, certified materials

On our website, each product sheet provides important details on materials, certifications and packaging. This approach enables our customers to fully understand the ecological impact of their purchases, promoting responsible and informed consumption.

80% of the materials we use are Oeko-Tex® certified, which guarantees the absence of substances that are harmful to the environment and consumer health, following the European Reach directives.

Horse Pilot also uses recycled fibre materials, such as polyester and nylon, for more eco-friendly products.

    Durable, repairable products

We offer repairs at our workshop in Cysoing. With this service, customers can extend the lifetime of their equipment and limit waste. Whether it's a zipper, seam or button, we do everything we can to give Horse Pilot products a new lease on life.

In 2024, more than 435 products were repaired, including 115 right in our workshop. This service isn’t just about repairs: it reflects our commitment to more responsible fashion, prioritising maintenance and durability rather than continually replacing items.

By extending the life of our products, we limit their environmental footprint. A simple gesture that makes all the difference for more sensible consumption. Find out more about our free repair service here.

    Second-hand

With Ride Again, we have created a platform dedicated to buying and selling second-hand Horse Pilot products. Accessible from our website, it offers a new, more responsible way of consuming, by passing on your equipment from rider to rider.

On Ride Again, you'll find Horse Pilot products, such as items with minor faults from trade shows and photo shoots, as well as ads from private individuals looking to give their equipment a second life.

Since its launch, 450 second-hand products have already been sold. Each transaction contributes to reducing waste and limiting the environmental impact of our industry, while strengthening the equestrian community around shared values: a passion for horses and respect for our planet.

    Upcycled collection

At Horse Pilot, our environmental responsibility goes beyond raw materials. We transform imperfect products and surplus stock into new pieces. In 2024, more than 250 upcycled accessories were produced.

We decided to recycle used trousers by turning them into fanny packs through our partnership with Homonoia, a French company and upcycling pioneer.

We have also launched an initiative in collaboration with Les Papillons Blancs in Roubaix-Tourcoing and the ESAT in Wattrelos, to transform defective trousers into stirrup covers. In 2023, 90 pairs of trousers were given a new life and became 390 covers, all made by people with disabilities.
